 Imperial Honeylocust: Imperial® The most compact, rounded and symetrical of the Honeylocust cultivars. Wide branch angles resist storm damage and create a more formal small to medium sized tree at only 30ft tall and wide. Tiny fern like leaves turn yellow or yellow-green in fall. Thornless with interesting very large spiral "Ram horn" seed pods. Pollution, salt and drought tolerant. Adapts to a wide range of soils. Prefers full sun. Fast growing. Grass can grow right up to the base.
